My name is Jill and I am a Christian.
I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, commonly
called Mormons. I love this country. I know that our nation was
established by the hand of God to be a land of liberty. He guided
the founding fathers as they sought to create a strong nation. The
crowning achievement of their efforts is our Constitution.
I have become aware that our nation is
becoming fraught with corruption, divisiveness, and moral decay. Our
political leaders have seen it too, but have been unable to stem the
tide of depravity. The solution to these problems lies not in
changes made by our government, but in the righteous and good people
of the nation uniting. As Christians we have greater power to exact
positive change in our nation; that is the power of our faith and our
prayers. If we unite in a single voice, calling out to our God to
heal our nation we will begin to see miracles.
That is the purpose of this blog. It
is to be a forum for discussing our faith and reliance upon the
Savior, Jesus Christ. For we know that no real change can come
without His grace and mercy. This is to be a non-partisan blog, for
to say that one must belong to one party or another negates our God
given agency, and the liberty upon which this nation was founded.
